Oando plc announces federal high court’s adjournment of hearing on date to file its scheme of arrangement document.

Lagos, Nigeria – Oando PLC (referred to as “Oando” or the “Company”), Nigeria’s leading indigenous energy group listed on both the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), hereby refers to the press statement issued on November 2, 2022, titled ‘Oando PLC Announces Federal High Court’s Extension Of Time To File Its Scheme Of Arrangement Document’,(the “Press Release”)..

Kindly note that the Federal High Court, Lagos Division (the “Court”) did not sit on the last adjourned date of January 26, 2023, previously communicated in the Press Release, due to the unavoidable absence of the presiding Judge. This matter has now been adjourned to March 30, 2023 for report of compliance with the Court’s order dated June 7, 2022, directing the Company to file its Scheme of Arrangement document (the “Scheme Document”) with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the NGX, among other orders.
